Privacy Policy

Overview

Resollab is a private collaboration app for the clients, contractors, and team of a design studio. You access it because your design studio invited you to a project. This policy explains what information the app handles and how we treat it.

Information we collect

• Account information you provide or that your studio provides to set up your access — your name, email address, and phone number.
• Project content related to your project — selections and approvals, documents and proposals, invoices, photos, messages and requests, and similar project records.
• Device information for notifications — if you allow push notifications, your device's push token (a random identifier from Apple or Google) so we can send you alerts. We do not collect the contents of other apps or your device.
• Basic usage and technical data needed to operate and secure the app, such as sign-in activity and error logs.

We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, or advertising identifiers, and the app contains no advertising.

How we use information

• To provide the app and your project workspace — showing your selections, documents, approvals, and updates.
• To send notifications you've enabled (e.g., when something needs your approval or a document is ready).
• To keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How information is shared

• With your design studio and the participants on your project — that's the purpose of the app.
• With service providers that help us run the app (our cloud database and hosting provider, our email delivery provider, and the push-notification services operated by Apple and Google), under agreements that limit their use of the data to providing their service to us.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the public.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account and project are active, and as needed to provide the service and meet legal or business-record requirements. You can ask us to delete your information (see "Your choices").

Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Your choices

• Notifications: you can turn push notifications on or off anytime in your device settings.
• Access or deletion: to access, correct, or delete your information, email us at admin@resollab.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Resollab is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here and revise the "Effective date" above. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
